KTC Certification Program
Ranking in Kun Tao Concepts (KTC) under the Supervision and Certification of Modern Filipino Kun Tao is done in title rank only. Various stages of learning, progression, and time are acknowledge by titles bestowed on the practitioner in lieu of belt ranking

Beginner Practitioner: Interest participants who have registered with Modern Filipino Kuntao will automatically be registered as a beginner practitioner with their first completed seminar training. Beginner Practitioners will be expected to train for 6 hours before reaching the advancement to intermediate practitioner.
Intermediate Practitioner: After 6 hours of training at the beginner level, and passing a practical certification demonstrate, the student will be progressed to the intermediate practitioner level. Intermediate practitioners have a basic understanding of the components of KTC and can demonstrate the basic techniques. After spending 12 hours of training at the intermediate level (18 in KTC) individuals can ask to test for advanced level.
Advanced Practitioner: After spending 12 hours of training at the Intermediate level, and spending 18 hours 18 hours total, the practitioner can test for this level. Between 18 and 30 hours and with successful testing, the practitioner will move to the Apprentice Instructor Level
Apprentice Instructor: After spending 12 hours at the advanced level (30 hours in total), the practitioner can test for the Apprentice Instructor level. This level, while titled with “Instructor” is still very much a student level. However, the Apprentice Instructor Level can assist in instruction and certify anyone up to Advanced Practitioner.
Associate Instructor: After a 42 hours in training, 12 as an Apprentice Instructor, the practitioner can test for advancement to an Associate Instructor. Part of the testing procedure would be for the practitioner to be able to teach the basic components to KTC with all techniques and philosophies proficient or better. The Associate Instructor can instruct and promote up to Apprentice Instructor level.
Full Instructor: After spending 18 hours at the associate level, and 60 hours in all, the candidate has met the requirements to test for Full Instructorship in Kun Tao Concepts. At this level the Full Instructor can promote up to Associate Instructor.
Senior Instructor: After training and instructing for 24 hours as a full instructor and spending a minimum of 84 hours with the KTC curriculum, an instructor can apply for senior status. A Senior Instructor is at the discretion of the Modern Filipino Kun Tao Executive Board, and all candidates must have successfully demonstrated their training and teaching skills.
